Zapi (hereinafter referred to as the "Platform") is operated by Zeative Labs and offered to you (hereinafter referred to as the "User") subject to your acceptance of all terms, conditions, and notices set out or referenced in this document, together with any additional terms, agreements, and notices applicable to specific pages or sections of the Platform.
Using the Platform means you agree to all of these terms, conditions, and notices. Please read them carefully. By using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and by any guidelines or rules applicable to any section of the Platform, without limitation. If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Platform and delete all API keys that have been issued.
Zapi reserves the right to change, modify, update, or discontinue the terms, features, pricing, documentation, and endpoints available on the Platform from time to time without any obligation to notify you, unless otherwise specified. For material changes affecting paid tiers, we will provide notice via email at least 30 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
Zapi grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, and limited license to access and use the Platform's API, SDK, and documentation in accordance with your applicable tier. You are prohibited from: • Modifying, decompiling, disassembling, or reverse engineering any component of the Platform. • Creating derivative works based on the Zapi API, SDK, or documentation. • Reselling, rebranding, or redistributing access to the Zapi API to third parties without a separate commercial agreement. • Sharing your API key with unauthorized parties.
You acknowledge and agree that the Platform, SDK, documentation, and all related intellectual property are owned by Zeative Labs or its licensors, and are protected by the copyright laws of the Republic of Indonesia and international treaties. No ownership rights are transferred to you under these Terms other than the usage rights granted in Section 4.
To access the Platform's endpoints, you must sign up and issue an API key. You are fully responsible for: • Keeping your API key confidential — do not commit it to public repositories or expose it in client-side code. • All activity that occurs using your API key, including quota consumption and any resulting charges. • The accuracy of your registration information (email, name, etc.). If your API key is leaked or misused, rotate the key in your dashboard immediately and report it to [email protected]. Zapi is not responsible for any loss resulting from the User's negligence in securing their API key.
You are prohibited from using the Platform to: • Collect personal data without the lawful consent of the data owner. • Conduct illegal activity in your operating jurisdiction, including fraud, phishing, or copyright infringement. • Send requests intended to disrupt the stability of the Platform (DDoS, request floods, infinite loops). • Bypass rate limits through multi-accounting, automated key rotation, or other methods. • Build products whose substance is mirroring or reselling Zapi data without adding value. • Use the Platform in a manner that violates the Terms of Service of the original data sources (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.). Responsibility for compliance with the original sources' ToS remains with the User.
Each tier has a different rate limit and monthly quota, listed on the Pricing page. Quotas reset at the start of each billing period. Usage exceeding your quota will return an HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) response. Quotas do not accumulate (no rollover) to the next period unless otherwise specified.
The Free tier is provided at no cost and without a credit card, with a quota of 2,000 requests per month. Paid tiers (Pro/Ultra, when available) are billed monthly through the designated payment gateway. All fees: • Exclude VAT and other applicable taxes. • Must be paid in advance at the start of the billing period. • Are non-refundable unless governed by a separate refund policy. Payment failure will result in a downgrade to the Free tier or account suspension after a 7-day grace period.
The Free tier is intended for evaluation, prototype development, hobby use, academic research, and small-scale independent developers. High-volume commercial use, enterprise integrations, or use cases requiring an SLA must use a paid tier or a separate commercial agreement with Zeative Labs.
As a Platform user, you can access: • Public documentation at docs.zpi.web.id. • The Discord community for peer-to-peer discussion. • Support tickets via [email protected] (response time depends on your tier). The Free tier does not include an uptime SLA. Paid tiers have their own SLA attached to their respective tier agreement.
Zapi may, at its sole discretion, suspend or terminate your account with immediate effect if: • Zapi suspects activity that endangers the Platform. • You commit a material breach of these Terms, including the Acceptable Use Policy. • You fail to pay beyond the grace period. • You use the Platform for illegal activity or activity that harms other Users. In the event of termination, you must cease all use of the Platform, delete any retained API result data if requested, and all outstanding payment obligations become immediately due.
Confidential information (including API keys, the internal dashboard, and billing data) may only be shared with parties who need access for integration purposes (e.g. engineering teams, professional advisors) and who are subject to confidentiality obligations equivalent to these Terms.
The Platform is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. Zapi: • Will make reasonable efforts to provide the service in accordance with these Terms. • Does NOT guarantee 100% uptime, data accuracy, data completeness, or endpoint availability against changes from the original data sources. • Is NOT liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data arising from use of the Platform. Zapi's total liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to a maximum of the fees you paid to Zapi in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You warrant that: • The content and use cases you build on top of Zapi do not infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party. • You will not upload or transmit viruses, worms, Trojan horses, or malicious code through the Platform. • Your use case is not unlawful, threatening, abusive, harmful, malicious, obscene, pornographic, profane, libelous, or defamatory in any jurisdiction. • You have the legal capacity to accept these Terms (minimum age of 18, or with guardian consent).
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Zeative Labs (along with its directors, employees, and affiliates) from any third-party claims, liabilities, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from or relating to: (a) your use of the Platform, (b) your breach of these Terms, or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including the ToS of the original data sources.
Zapi will take technically reasonable measures to prevent security breaches on its servers and in the User's interactions with the Platform, including TLS encryption, network isolation, and rotation of internal credentials. However, no system is entirely secure — Users must implement defense-in-depth on their own application side.
The processing of User personal data is subject to a separate Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms, in accordance with Law No. 27 of 2022 on Personal Data Protection (the PDP Law) and its implementing regulations. Read more at /privacy.
You agree that Zapi may send transactional emails and notifications regarding Platform changes, product updates, or billing matters to your registered email address. To stop receiving non-transactional newsletters, use the unsubscribe link in the email footer or manage your preferences in the dashboard.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute that arises will first be resolved amicably through negotiation. If no agreement is reached within 30 days, the dispute will be resolved through the Indonesian National Arbitration Board (BANI) in accordance with its applicable rules and procedures.
If any clause in these Terms is declared invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that clause will be deemed severed from these Terms, and the remaining clauses will remain in full force and effect.
Questions, comments, or complaints regarding these Terms, privacy, or use of the Platform can be sent to [email protected]. We always welcome constructive feedback.
